Went shopping, then checked the rack, I forgot I already had this disc, which is good since CD prices seem to be on the rise...

My favorite "week-end" song.
George Jones - Finally Friday
A great honky tonk sound if there ever was one. ;)

With all the talk about rock vs. classical on another thread, I listened to ELO's first album, "No Answer". Baroque and dark in spots, but the title track showed promise.

Funny story behind the name... record exec's office tried to contact the band for suggestions for the album's name.

Didn't get through... scribbled down "no answer" which was later transcribed as the album's name. Jeff Lynne shrugged it off. Name not as important as the music.

Waylon Jennings - I've Always Been Crazy
One of my all time favorite Waylon tunes off the great album of the same name.
Close to a life story for me. LOL
