I also definitely saw Dead Can Dance but cannot remember who they supported. It could have been Siouxsie but not sure and I may be confusing them with Modern Eon. I attended a good few gigs in London back then as I worked there and it was a simple few stops on the tube to get where we needed to go. I think I saw the Cocteau twins at an infamous Chelmsford gig (I just can't remember where). She's the most delicate flower to me and we all loved the performance. Called back for encores, she was in tears, but recovered and once the tape was wound back a little (the percussion and atmospheric backing was off a tape machine which may have been an Otari but not sure), the three band members playing on top), she once again gave a flawless performance. Can't believe how long ago all this was now and it's a bit frightening really*...

My 70th is approaching fast in a few months' time and original 60s hippies are now around 80. I bristle at TV ads for retirement complexes that patronisingly treat 'us' as if we're young children fresh into primary school

CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND A NEW SEALED COPY OF THIS AT A LOCAL RECORD SHOP THIS WEEKEND, BUT APPARENTLY THE "RESPECT THE CLASSICS" LINE OF HIP-HOP REISSUES INCLUDED THIS 12" SINGLE OF EAZY-E's CLASSIC IN 2015. SOUNDS FANTASTIC AND WAS PRESSED ON THICK (PRESUMABLY 180-GRAM) VINYL.
