Here’s audio of the Noriko Koide piece. And that’s a picture of the same wonderful conductor, Elim Chan.

Gave this birthday gift another spin, and unfortunately, the two loud pops on side two during "Hell is for Children" yields a nasty skip. Not sure what I'm going to do regarding an exchange, because the price my wife bought the album at is no longer valid and I don't think this LP warrants more than what she paid. First, my copy (at least) exhibits too much surface noise/crackle for a new pressing (I can clean it, but I don't believe in doing that with new records because 99-percent of the time brand new ones play fine on my rig). Second, I discovered that at least a couple of the tracks on here -- namely "Shadows of the Night" -- have been edited to the point it kind of ruins the ebb and flow of the songs; "Shadows of the Night" is a good example of this, wherein Pat's repeating lyrics ("We're running with the shadows of the night, so baby take my hand.....") simply fade out pretty quickly instead of the song disappearing with the instrumental section. It just ruins it (I said the same thing about Earth Wind and Fire's "After the Love is Gone" on the Ultimate Collection LP, where that song fades far too early).

Additionally, some really good songs are missing from this, including "Promises in the Dark" and "We Live for Love," amongst others. I'm going to wait until this goes on sale to rebuy, or just live with the skip because I don't think it's worth the money they're asking for it now.
