Today was quite the walk down memory lane, thanks!

Different program tonight

That should be fun! I saw Warren Haynes with the Pittsburgh Symphony doing Grateful Dead, similarly different and it was awesome. Have fun!

New vinyl acquisition of old classic:

Eagles - Hotel California, listened to the whole album, every track strong. Bernie Grundman mastered, who was the original mastering engineer.

"A Question of Balance" (1970) by The Moody Blues
FLAC 16/44.1 ripped from CD

The Moodys were not sufficiently credited for making excellent innovative music and raising the voice of peace. Saw them in 1972. The set included Question and opened with a very heavy version of Gypsy. If you haven't seen it, Rick Beato did a great interview with Justin Hayward, the last Moody standing.

Thanks for the link to this interview!

After this second play, the skip at the end of side two vanished -- must have been something caught in the grooves or a slight imperfection that my stylus initially tripped up on. ‍
