Spotify last week served me up a track from Newton Faulkner:

It instantly transported me back nearly 20 years, when I listened all the time to his debut album "Hand Built by Robots":

I was reminded just how powerful, clean and unique his voice was, and I why I used to have him playing all the time on my Sony Discman (D-EJ955), which was always in my pocket, blasting out while I was on the move (picture below, not my actual Discman, but same model):

So, I'm now working my way through his back catalogue of albums.

i like the gems that "randomly" show up on the recommended lists after you've played something.
