Amazing.
I like to hear (from the 1st track) to the "radio stream interview, slightly at the back of your left ear", and a little before that, at a "dog, barking in the far right, some 200 yards away"...
This is just one bit of how amazingly this album has been mastered and mixed.
Listening to this CD now.

My favorite solo instruments are double reeds and the cello and its relatives. The viola bastarda is more like a viola da gamba than a modern cello. I think the reason I like this family is that it's pitched in the same range as the human voice.
