My wife discovered a wonderful playlist on Tidal called "Turkish Funk" which has opened a treasure trove of legitimately captivating 1970s funk, psychadelic, etc.. It transports the listener to a hazy huka lounge in Istanbul in the 1970s, probably a lot of mind-altering substances floating around as well. Here is one of the gems from the playlist...

Lucky you.. This genre's actual name is "Anatolian Rock". I've been into this since early 90's. Sadly, most of music lovers spend their lives without being unaware of such genres.
I can recommend you to follow "Anatolian Rock Revival" channel on YT.
There are some modern groups and soloists that do homage performances to this unique genre of the past. e.g:
