What are we listening to right now..

New London Grammar. ‘The Greatest Love’, there is a new Tindersticks album too, ‘Soft Tissue’.

I am sensing some Ornette Coleman influence which is a major compliment. His groundbreaking album, "The Shape of Jazz to Come" was a groundbreaking release. He was a very leading jazz musician and developed a type of disjointed jazz that we enjoy today many decades later. This track has a mysterious time warping sense to it. How can it be metal influenced?
You're right, Ornette is this front runner. It feels metal to me because of the sound.

Did never pay much attention to Howard Jones. Nevertheless – this album is not bad at all:

Possibly a repost.
Sorry. Awesome track none the less...

Bassline reminds me of "Stratos", his track sampled by Massive Attack on Safe From Harm, many moons ago.

Very happy bouncy beat lead house(y) music set for doing the two step bum-shuffle, mixed to perfection, ideal for a roasting hot day here in Galloway (hottest day of the year….in mid September )
