Listening to and watching professionals play in a great studio is a joy...

Don't Take Your Love From Me Catherine Russell w/ Fred Staton

I am embarrassed as a humanoid by the following playlist that we sent into deep space, aboard the Voyager space-craft, some ~46 years ago.
What is more embarrassing is the fact that this @#$% playlist was on the basic LP media format.

Not a Valya Balkanska fan, I gather.

Start with some OMD and TheHumanLeague, add a bit of DepecheMode and a dash of KraftWerk, impart a smidgen of YeahYeahYeahs and don't forget some Strokes… voila!
Brooklyn synth-pop (indie-pop?) trio are expanding their signature sound with a surprisingly idiosyncratic third album.

Nation Of Language - Strange Disciple - "Weak In Your Light" [2023]

This cut has it all, Big Audio Dynamite melody, Dance Funk, even " boots are made for walkn" and " gone mad". Rabbit in the moon production has matured. I saw him in Orlando at the Firestone. He ground his hockey mask with a disk grinder, then set himself on fire.
