If you are happy with the sound, don't worry about it.

If you still feel like you would like a DAC, if you're in the US, the $9 Apple USB-C dongle would work well with the L30 for your headphones.

I have asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 as my MOBO, i just bought an amp and a nice pair of headphones? should i get a dac too? id really appreciate any and all help!

Honestly, I'm going to assume that motherboard has a low quality audio circuit(also judging by the motherboard picture) as most motherboards in that price range don't invest in thier audio quality usually . I would buy an apple usb-c dongle since it's only 8$ and much better than low end motherboard audio. You can use a usb c female to usb a male adapter to use it on your motherboard.
