You may remember the launch (pun intended) of the dCS Varèse DAC, see photo below (noting this photo includes the new transport).

Now they have released the full dCS Varèse system with six individual DAC channels, each housed in their own chassis.

I can't even imagine the real estate needed to support this (I can but I am in denial) and whether you need more "stuff" outside of the six boxes needed for each DAC channel (like more than one core chassis or master clock chassis).

I called the two channel dCS Varèse DAC "engineering masturbation" on our thread about it so now it's is a full blown orgy.

It truly is the end times in more ways than one.

Did you notice the different gap dimensions on the transport? The whole "ensemble" is so ridiculous, I really don't know what to comment on it.

This is "begging" for ads from competitors, like "hey, imagine this in just one box and for a fraction of the price"

Like the 80s on speed. Just with a bigger price tag. But the same great taste.

Pretty sure the -- ahem -- OG use of ridonculous dates back to 1960s (US) TV cartoons. Pretty sure.
