Hello,

first really noticed this site during my recent case of upgraditis last year. Found the RME ADI DAC and the Boxem Arthur here and finally bought them. Very satisfied, even if I suspect some cheaper components might have worked just as well for me. ;)

I'm not an EE or doing anything professionally with audio, but I do have some basic knowledge about electronics and physics and found you guys here make much more sense than other corners of the audiophile web...

Anyway, just decided I might as well join in the fun instead of only lurking. Also, getting involved here might help me with this annoying voice telling me I should have gotten a r2r dac or something with a tube instead of the actually pretty much endgame electronics I got - I hate it when marketing works on me.

Hey here...

I'm also a long time listener.
I have been into the diyaudio for many years, and within the last 2-3 years or so, I build an enormous interest in testing equipment and stuff.
I already tested/measured a lot of the stuff I build. By this I found the need for some kind of interface to plugin between the DUT and the ADC.
Well autorangers wasn't available anymore at that time (The L|A Autoranger was my inspiration at that time), so I started developing one by myself.
It's a long journey, but I have one selfmade by hand now, which is working very good I think.

I was thinking to introduce it here somewhere, but not sure in which forum here?

Hi, long-time lurker here.

I'm mostly a headphones and inears guy rn, but I'm planning to upgrade my home system(s) soon.

Jesper.
That deserves a thread. There are many DIYers here and many others enjoy reading about such projects. I hope you do post about it, if you feel motivated to describe the project.

Hi, Everyone. I a new here :D. Thanks for having me. I am looking for advices to create a home theater in a basement. See you.

Wow - lots of new people while I've been away. Welcome everyone.

Hi everyone,

I'm Sika, from Spain. I'm an amateur musician and have always been a bit skeptical when it comes to audio gear. But with all the high-quality, affordable products available these days, I’ve started digging a bit deeper into the technical side of things.

I’ve been reading a lot on this forum, but I hope to get more involved soon. I’m especially interested in gear with great price-to-performance — always on the lookout for a good bargain!

I own Audient ID44 MKII, AKG K-702, Sony MDR-7506, 7Hz Zero 2, JCally JM20 MAX. I,m waiting for Hifiman HE400SE.

Looking forward to learning more and joining the discussion.
