I have lost count of how many parodies they have shown of James Caan's final visit to a highway toll booth in The Godfather

As I recall, this 626 had styling that was 'cleaner' than most of their competition. That aesthetic and the option to fold down the rear seatbacks (to haul snow skis) convinced a friend to buy and drive one for 8 years.

In the early 70's the AMC styling exercises looked pretty good BUT...

The Leyat Helica was essentially thought out as a wingless airplane for the road. It was equipped with a large propeller powered by a small 18 hp engine.
The first public appearance was at the 1921 Paris Motor Show. Production was between 1919 and 1925.

Thanks. Yep, A.I. B.S. Groan. A.I. is not art. It's definitely not a car that ever existed, prototype or production.
Looking closer, you can tell by looking at the wreckage in the background, and also the lack of alignment of the curves of the headlight lines and the fin relative to the center...

This is supposed to be fun, not fake.

That strange rear side window design will put of most people, even if the other strange design decisions would not...
