Weed thread, what do you vaporize / smoke?

I had to check with my AI to make sure I was not hallucinating:

For me, peanuts do it...
Interesting... worth a try.

The only solution i found was, don't keep anything unhealthy home, if you only keep fruits, vegetables and meat you have to prepare nothing crazy can happen, cos it doesn't only make you hungry, it also makes you lazy that's the trick :p
Unfortunately my wife demands we keep "proper snacks" in the house so I'm always at risk. :D

For some, the 'pot scene' (aka Stoners) becomes a cultural (counterculture) identity.
As @pablolie mentions, in various places, once it becomes legal or at least defacto legal, partaking becomes a normal personal decision like whether to drink wine, and there is no cool factor involved anymore. In my area it's advertised on billboards and grocery receipts like any other boring product, and nobody cares if you smoke or not.

We were smoking bongs, daily....all day....back in the 90s.
I lost many years of my life, I would say.
It's such a waste. You drink, you have fun. You smoke, you just bum around.

I have known many over the years. I don't think it did good for any of them.
Sure, if you "micro-dose," you can have positive effects in the long term....but who really does that?
The only people who are really able to do it don't really need it in the first place, cause they have a near perfect life anyways.

About entry drug: Back then, all my friends eventually got addicted to ecstasy, and I mean all of them. I pretty much was the only one who didn't. Coke was also a thing between them. I tried those things also. The thing is, I would never have tried this stuff if it wasn't for the green. That is why it is considered an entry drug.
I was a stoner for many years in my younger days. I've never tried, let alone seen, any other illegal drug. I put a lot of exposure and use of illegal drugs down to musical subcultures and social circles in many ways. As a lifelong Reggae fan, weed was always the drug of choice. I've never been a regular club or pub goer and in all honesty I'm not overly sociable. I dare say that had I been into the Rave scene, for example, then I would have definitely encountered ecstasy for starters.

So in summary, weed was never an 'entry drug' for me, nor for most of my friends. I suspect it wasn't weed that was the entry for you into trying other drugs, but rather the social settings you found yourself in.

I agree. Whichever drug you try first introduces you to the concept of chemically altering your mental state. Apart from that there is nothing about any drug by itself that leads to using other drugs, but the social circles you may get into in order to procure the drug, or with whom you consume it, can enable trying out other substances.

I had one hash dealer in the 90ies who, while on a lot of acid, confessed that cannabis was mainly a loss leader for him, and he really wanted to sell us exstasy, amphetamines or coke. Explains why he was always trying to push these on us though we never bought any.

Or just simple business for bulk/cost/profit let alone wider market. Foods can alter your state chemically.....

Perhaps, dosage and drug and other parameters.....
