I'm looking for some wav files to perform some measurements on wifi streamers...
1k: 44k 16bit and 24bit, 48k 24bit, 96k 24bit
multitones as you use them around here for your dac tests?

Any ideas for sites where to find them?

Sound eXchange. It's a very versatile command line based tool for converting file formats, sample rate and bit depth, generating test signals, adjusting gain etc.

I use mainly as part of the process of ripping my CD's. I also dabble. Google is your friend. I entered into the search: generate multitone signal using sox

This was the first match: ASR SoX. The PDF that comes with SoX is a bit overwhelming for the novice but it is really quiet good. I would read parts of it, become a bit confused and then search on the web for examples. I would compare the examples with the PDF and slowly start to make sense of it.

If do not want to try SoX there will be others tools out there. I'm just not familiar with them.

You can generate all kinds of test tones using the signal generator inside REW.
The program is free to use and works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Audacity can also generate & mix tones. First you set the sample rate ("Project Rate") then it's just Generate -> Tone -> Sine, and select the amplitude and frequency.

And you can simplify things by starting with a high sample rate, save ("Export") then lower the sample rate, export again, and repeat, etc.

I'm not exactly how the multitone tests are done but if you have two or more tracks open in Audacity they will mix when you play or export. But, since mixing is done by summation you have to watch the levels to prevent clipping.

jtest sine etc no worries to generate appropriate wav with rew...
but if offers a possibility of "multitones" ... I don't know how to make a multitone32 or 64 as it seems to be customary to use around here?
Any idea of the settings needed?
thank you
;-)
(too bad that "multitone "does not allow to produce wav ;-) )

RMAA can also generate and then analyze a test signal. They both have to be the same sample rate, though.
