According to Yamaki's VU "monitor" page;

"-D" represents digital AES 3-id BNC input (term-on 75 Ohm term-off 10 kOhm), "-A" represents analog balanced XLR input (term-on 600 Ohm, term-off 10 kOhm); each has through OUT BNC or XLR connector. At present, I do not know the inside details, but they should have some DA converter(s) in "-D" series, I believe.
