I'd dearly love a stereo IV-S but they are still seriously spendy
The worst mistake I ever made, about 14 years ago, was passing up on the purchase of a brand new, still in its delivery packaging, Nagra T for about $500 because, at that time, I was going through a daft phase of attempting to de-clutter.

What a dolt.

I guess blue wasn't cool in '69!
Wow, I didn't realize they were that old.
Time for a blue led upgrade maybe. LOL
A really beautiful pair of amps BTW, I jealous!

A more utilitarian VU meter.
Interesting amplifier design. 600 watts@8 ohms. 20A power cord plug. Big iron - 92 lb unit. Crown. Audio freq range. Decent specs.

I got a Coleman audio vu meter box, and replaced theirs with some cooler looking Sony vu meters. My daughter loves them.

And with an era-appropriate Neil Diamond mix tape, to boot.
as found at the Harvard, MA town dump :)
-- not the deck, though, just the tape(s).

Actually it's a "needle drop" (as the hip kids say nowadays) of Hot August Night.

I, OTOH, never like that those blue "slidding" display meters.

I had a Pioneer CT-F850 back in the day. That POS' clutch mechanism broke down several time and repairs always failed.

Prolly needed a upgraded clutch. I serviced a tonne of cassette decks and it was very common for clutches and springs to be upgraded to solve issues.

Only one comment, on amps there voltage meters not power meters, unless your speakers impedance is flat.

Supposedly the McIntosh meters accurately measure power. I am sure some Mac fanatic can explain how -- that lets me out, though!

PS I am not too crazy about the Fluoroscan meter displays (either), FWIW.
