I don't have much experience with PA systems. But is this considered desirable and high-quality? Well, the price is undoubtedly very high.

The unit is lacking in bass. The sound will be very disappointing for music without a sub woofer. Even male vocals will sound comparitively thin. The on-axis response is otherwise at least not terrible, perhaps better than that. We are not told what level of smoothing is in the graph, which makes it harder to judge.
The off-axis response, though, is quite jagged. The horizontal directivity is particularly compromised vs. competitive products. Certainly not worth paying a premium price for.

Virtually no bass, but I expect these to be matched with PA subwoofers anyway. In exchange they have very high output.

In terms of appearance, they look perfect for clubs plus they have high SPL capability. As it should be with such speakers.:)

BUT placing them at home in your combined living room listening room ...well. I don't know. Taste and liking and all that. Do you @Proyecto NEMA need speakers with that high SPL capability? Do you like to play at really high volumes at home?

I didn't check how much they cost but this is what they look like if anyone is interested:

Void are some of the best speakers I’ve heard in clubs. Of course there’s no bass in this model. It’s designed to have subs. They go incredibly loud while staying clean.

106dB efficiency and 132dB continuous sound output. Look great.

Their Venu Line looks quite interesting too:

Void Venu 8V2
Reasonable price, or at least not that expensive, around $1200 a pair from what I can see. Designed for high SPL with 8 inch bass driver paired with compression driver. Rolls off at around 70 Hz so a subwoofer paired with them would work well.

They should be a good candidate for hifi dudes who like low powered tube amps as they have this performance:
Efficiency1 97 dB 1W/1m
Nominal Impedance 8 Ω

Directivity is horrible. This is certainly not HiFi!

Good frequency response. Loud. Clean. Always dance in the sweet spot.

Outdoors music Festival Andromeda had a pair setup in a field. Sounded beautiful.

That directivity really do lok bad yes. I've heard them a few times and never had any real complains though, but then I also tend to try to stand someone in center of them, but I'm also rarely sober and rarely heard music that I actually care about when listening to them.

But tbh I think Voids biggest selling point (wether people will admit it or not) is their looks, because they look quite awesome, and this will definitely make most people believe they are better than they actually are.

How much are the Air Motion? I found a couple used pair $10,000 and $15,000. New, with subs and amps, a complete setup is maybe $50,000? I agree, the looks are the main draw. And outdoors better than indoors. Volume at full output would be greater than your ears can stand at close range or indoors.

This is not ment for home use at all, this is for clubs and festivals and is a part of a bigger system, and are mainly popular in the UK.

I was at a small electronic music festival years ago where one stage had Void speakers, and the othe equivalentr Function One speakers, and the latter sounded a lot better than the former. It could also be the engineer, but here you will rarely see Void in a club or festival, while Function One is relative common today in hgher end clubs down here. Both their horn systems are not fit for home (Function one got a seperate "hfi" line altough that is good).

These particular speakers are truly “public address” speakers made for lobbies, lounges, etc. You’re not going to use them for a band or DJ. They make a lot of weird looking products along that line.

Their products don’t appeal to me at all.

Went to a club tonight and was reminded how great Funktion One sound. Indoors I think they are better than Void.

Was 106dB about 4m away in the sweetspot. There were some extra Void Subwoofers there too.

Yeah Funktion Ones Evo (which is the one I mostly see when I see F1) have way better dispersion control and it's not surprising that they are much more common than Void.

They have a Void system in a local club here in Manchester. Sounds decent but L'Acoustics and D&B systems typically always sound the best to me for high SPL situations, especially for EDM.
