Thanks PMA. A lot of things to think about in this thread.
But i think FM testing in general is a good method to detect nonlinearety

(1kHz carrier modulated by 900Hz with modulation frequency 200Hz)
I hat do thinks ab this.
To me its 1kHz FM modulated with 200Hz and 90% or 900hz or modulation depth.
I know you said the same but with different words

I learned, only disscussions can avoid "tunnel effect". You are right in multi national teams language can be sometimes to harsh.

From an auditory point of view, all that "dirty" at high frequencies would theoretically be negligible. However I wonder, is it possible that a transducer (tweeter) introduces further IMD in audio band due to its non-linearity, when sourced with the amount of HF noise/distortion seen in these measurements?
