Here is a review of the HumminGuru that does some comparison with the Degritter. Not sure that some of his tests are valid but there is some interesting info buried in the review about how each works. He's a big fan of the Degritter, so his conclusions aren't necessarily surprising.

Despite that (and other similar reviews that I have read), I'm leaning towards the HG. $3,000 dollars for a cleaner is just a LOT of money compared to the other components in my system and/or my total record spend. Also, I typically purchase new vinyl or VG+ or better used discs, so I'm not asking my cleaner to perform miracles from old garage records. The HG should still be a step up from the Groovewasher system that I use now and I can always pass my HG down to one of my kids (2 are into records) down the line and upgrade to something like the Degritter.
My HG simply works well. I can't compare the ultrasonic action to the Degritter directly but I do know it removes deep groove gunk much better than my RD vacuum.

I've tried a few vacuum solutions and found that they are no better than my Disco Antistat. I do a pre-clean with a lazy susan and a goat hair brush to get some real agitation and then a run through the Antistat followed by a rinse with distilled water. Vacuum only wins in the speed category. I have to leave my records for at least two hours to dry.

Not tried ultrasonic yet, I'm curious to try it but nothing I've seen tells me that it'll be a revolution. For the price of dedicated ultrasonics I could buy a SweetVinyl SugarCube. Which I did. Best massive lump sum I ever spent in audio.

There's another competitor ... I think US made and cheaper than HG.

They also have a turntable, but I'm (obviously) interested in the RCM.

I would have a hard time believing this isn't just the Humminguru internals stuffed in a different case. Although the water tank is not exactly the same, it looks very similar in a lot of ways. And, it has the same exact modes/functions from what I can tell, and comes with the same adapters and tools. It is much cheaper, though, wow - looks like ~$180 shipped to the US if you get the early bird. Quite possibly worth a shot, although I really think it's a rip-off of the HG design if that bothers anyone.

The turntable on the other hand looks very janky to me. The headshell looks noticeably skewed in the all the photos, and they can't even be bothered to use a non-warped record for their promo video.

some information in the comments section of this video that indicates this may be a scam.

Has anyone tried the Vevor Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner. The review looks to be pretty through.
Not much LP play anymore but I have some rare ones that could use a bath. Its on sale for $204.

yes, but what i like in the HG is this:

i'm not a specialist on ultrasonic technology ... the HG creates the cavitation facing the record (perpendicular) and not "parallel" like the "general tank" option ... better efficiency?

Okay but as a guy that rarely plays LPs (but has 600-700) and too lazy for SpinClean and too cheap for super tech, the Vevor seems like sweet deal. Can't find a bad review of it.
