Windows 10 laptop is connected to SMSL DO200 Pro and the DAC is connected to external amplifier.
I can see the track frequency on the DO200 Pro display, so the signal passes from the laptop to the DAC, but I get no sound from the DAC to the amplifier and speakers.
In Jriver the output is set to SMSL USB DAC (WASAPI) and on the laptop the output device is set to SMSL USB DAC.
I installed the driver for DO200 Pro and when I check the DAC in the device manager section, it says that the device has the latest driver.
SMSL USB is set to 2.0 /input is USB from the laptop and output is set to balance.

I tried it with just the HDMI cable from laptop to the audio processor and it worked fine. It seems like DAC is the problem.

What am I missing?

It didn't pass the signal to amplifier whether the volume was up or down.
My amplifier is an Anthem P5 and it shows when it receives the signal.
I just bought a McIntosh MX100 audio processor and then I connect my PC to it for music it sounds very good.
I decided to use MX100 for my music and returned the DAC.

I have the DO200 Pro, I use Windows 10, I use Foobar2000 which defaults to WASAPI, and I hear audio. I don't think this issue is widespread.

I returned the DAC and for the first time I really appreciate my audio processor. I never used it before for playing music until I got into this problem with the DO200 Pro DAC and I had to use my MX100 for music nd it does a great job at it. I don't feel I need an external DAC anymore.
