Hi,

I have a Marantz PM6006UK amp which I love. What I don't have is a sub out.
There's an audio out - "Recorder out" on the backside - https://manuals.marantz.com/pm6006/NA/EN/fig/Conne recorder PM6006N_OBAOILxxrckljt.png
Is this basically an aux out?

Can I connect it to a powered sub's line input like the lower two inputs here
and still have my stereo running from the Marantz at the same time, making this a 2.1 setup?

Thanks :)

Nope. It's not controlled by your volume control. It is a fixed output level for going into a tape recorder. You will need a sub with speaker level inputs
