Have a Mac mini outputting via M2tech USB dongle to spdif into my CD player's DAC. I recently read that you can plug an optical cable from the Tele into the toslink 'in' on the back the mini and then on the mini using a software app called 'Audo Hijack' redirect this input to the M2tech. I can choose the audio in and the M2tech as in/out but getting no sound. Anyone else have any experience with this? Would be great if I could get it to work.

Audio Hijack is great, but it needs to be recording for the audio routes to be active.

The publisher has a different app called Loopback that might be more what you're looking for.
