I’m hoping to get advice on my home theatre setup. I purchased the 6000a MKll to try and get the best of both worlds. I currently have the 6000a connected to my Yamaha AVR via L/R pre out to power input and HDMI from amp to the tv.l have a Cambridge Audio streamer connected to aux 1 on the amp. It works well but what I l am wondering is can I connect to my 5 channel 120 watt external amp with my above connections via the pre connection on the amp or a different combination.?

Thanx,
Graham

If the AVR has preamp outputs you can connect them to either amplifier.

If you want to switch a pair of speakers between amplifiers you'll need a speaker switch.

But it's not clear that you need the integrated amp or 5.1 channel amp at all... The AVR should have all the inputs & outputs you need, it's got a DAC (including decoding for surround formats which the integrated amp probably doesn't), and it's probably got more amplifier power than the integrated amp, and probably more power than you need.
