Using ADC-DAC for SE to Balanced conversion

Hot take on 2 options. Quality of conversion for SE to Balanced signal...

Using a MiniDSP SHD only to convert an SE input to a balanced output, with no additional processing, EQ, Dirac, etc. Just the conversion via ADC-DAC.

or...

Using an analog convertor like a DI box or headphone amp (like a Schiit Magnius or Lokius) that takes SE input and uses opamps to generate a balanced output.

You may want to check these boards out. I have two of the 1206s which are balanced to unbalanced boards that are sitting on my bench at this very moment. All I have to do is ground the boards to the chassis and then I am going to give them a spin.
