hi all.

i want to use a kh 80 in a house I am working on. any problem using a bluetooth receiver with regular rca out going into the kh 80 balanced connector? this would be better and cheaper for me than a bluetooth speaker.

It'll work fine, but are you sure you want to use it for that?
If there'll be dust/liquids/people around, it might get dirty/wet/kicked, more than once, and you'll still need to run it with mains power.

After some pondering about what to use in my (small) kitchen, I went with a Bose SoundLink Flex 2. It's a decent little speaker: sounds better than it has any right to, gets reasonably loud, IP67-rated, compact, and cheap enough that if it ever broke, I'd probably just buy another one.

Other bluetooth speakers are available etc etc, but IMO this really is the sort of environment where something compact and wireless is required.
