1st and most important will the Built in DAC of the USB to AUX degrade the sound from the Fosi Audio DS1 DAC ?

The brand I`m looking over uses the KT0210 dac chip not sure if it`s actually designed for audio applications or some other kind of LAB digital to analog conversion... ?

My purpose for the application is using my Galaxy A52 usb c to DS1 dac then aux / USB cord plugged into my 2023 Mazda 3 with the Bose sound system.

Also assuming it`s a 2 way directional cord and not specifically designed for usb to aux....

On a side note Android Auto has opened up it`s user joy by now allowing more apps, I used the USB Player Pro app from the A 52 on it`s own plugged into the Mazda usb and it deaf-inatly made a Large difference & loud and still clear. So naturally I want to try my DS1 DAC !!!!!!!!!!

Suggest using a Flac file of Metallica: and justice for all song it comes alive and now enjoyable the guitar is lite up and separated if your into comparing before and after you will notice it immediately that song is very difficult to find a proper setup to make it enjoyable and an even better setup to hear it as Metallica intended you to hear it !

I`m not indorsing this or insinuating anyone purchase this over others only found 2 brands so far giving up the detail about the dac chip used ...
I have other AUX plugs with the TRRS for a mic and they all work with all my normal stereo AUX ports and extension cords I just forget if there was any issues using them for stereo and I`ve just been lucky .?

Thank you for your time it is always much appreciated !

That's confusing me...

Does the car stereo have a USB connection or an analog connection?

If it's USB, you're using the DAC built into the stereo.

You can only use one DAC... unless you add an ADC in-between and that wouldn't make any sense.

The UGREEN device is essentially a laptop soundcard. It's got a mono microphone input (to an ADC) which is useless in this application and a headphone output (from a DAC) which could be used if your car stereo has an analog connection.

Oh I see I`m still a bit confused how the USB Audio Player Pro App works I thought it was using the DAC from devices only in AUX mode so that`s is super great news to my ears !

Completely forgot I was using my beats pill with that app plugged into USBc of beats pill with very much improvement ! ! !

Thanks

Still makes no sense how it can be such an improvement in my 2023 Mazda 3 I`m using USB drive with Flac music files same as my A52 cellphone so why does it sound clearer from app on my cell ?

I have the bose sound settings off for that comparison.

I tested my 2032 Mazda 3 hatchback AWD Turbo with the Bose sound system with all sound modes turned off ,USB with USB drive flac files on it against my Galaxy A52 with flac files AND the USB Audio Player Pro app installed.

Plugged my A52 into the USB port and the android auto allowed me to select the app, the improvement in clarity was noticeable guessing around 15% or higher.

Using And Justice For All song by Metallica I could easily hear some of the Guitar sections had more charge/ Clarity and others had more separation in the finer details of the upper highs.

Honestly I was a bit surprised a cell phone app could beat Bose programming you would think they would do a firmware update to offer both analog and digital options for music play back.

I`m guessing that is the difference as the Bose using a USB drive only had a more smoothed out sound with deeper bass.

I enjoy DETAILS what's up with BOSE muffling our music experience ????

I`ll post that question in another post this one is off topic now...

How do you define and measure clarity? Are you sure it's not simply a level difference?
