I saw the news few days earlier on the iPhone 7 & 7 Plus, and I thought it was a good idea to make them waterproof by blocking that headphone jack.
That way water cannot enter.

My issue with wireless headphones is what to do when they fall off. With wires I grab that to pull them up. Without wire? Soon the experience will be one channel mono and then total mute when I lose the second one.

Couple of those should take care of anyone worried about losing them...wireless headphones. Paint one red the other white.
