Upgrade to a kef ls60

Thanks all for your insights, it seems like the general consensus is to go with LS60. It's attractive to me as well due to the simplicity.
A purifi based amp at 1/10 price of the speaker would be more than enough.
I'm actually considering this or a Hypex amp. If I get the Ref3, I'll be using it with a Wiim Amp Ultra at first while I figure out the long term plan.
I used an SPL calculator and it seems like the Wiim can get plenty loud enough at 100W+ into 4-8 ohms, way above my typical listening volume. So what do I stand to gain with getting a hypex/purifi amp if I am not power limited by the Wiim? Is there additional dynamics/damping etc to be had when moving to a higher power amp, or is it just for peace of mind and future proofing?
Get a 60 if your room is 15x15 … you will save money and get about the same given a sane spl … the difference on spec and results will not be noticeable … you probably reach peak with the 60
I can’t see a passive doing better then an ls60 …. Its often on par even worse sometimes
The 60 is optimised and has everything to switch on and listen …
So you own both the 4329p and LS60 and you prefer the LS60 more? Luckily for me the color I want (white) is discounted for both models, but I do think the LS60 is overall more attractive. The new LS60 is actually slightly more expensive than the used Ref3 for me, but that's not factoring in source/amp cost etc.

yes, pretty much peace of mind to avoid any FOMO. Amp Ultra should be fine for 99% cases. You will hurt your ears before hurting your speakers.
But if you are going to spend 15kEUR on a pair of speaker, paying 1.5k more for an end game amp seems ... reasonable.

With the LS60s you just need a few cables to connect stuff, like a CD player and you’re done.
You can run an HDMI eARC cable from your TV to the LS60s, too! That was a nice bonus.
Stream music from your iPhone or over your wi-fi network, too.

The sound field is BIG, since there are bass/mid drivers on the sides of both speakers. It was surprising at first!

The LS60s are great looking. Mine are blue, subs are titanium.
The fact that they’re totally self-contained is a big bonus. One and done.

No no … I have a 60 in holiday home
And a 4329 at home
I don’t prefer the 60 over the 29 … it’s about the same sound
It’s just that I customised my 29 more to my liking , cosmetically only

That's a beautiful system @meracus, if I get the 4329p I'm getting the white model so it will be close to what you have. But the custom grilles and stand is really outstanding. And what is the big JBL speaker next to it, 4367/4369?

Is a 60 and LS60 different things?
