Upgrade Rotel RB1070 with CJ PF2L to Parasound A21 (old version)

First post on here. I’m running a Rotel RB1070 and CJ PF2L (no phono stage) through Wharfedale Linton 85th and a PecanPi Dac in a pretty small room 12x11. To my ears it sounds pretty good, though I was wondering if it might be worth it to upgrade the Rotel to a Parasound A21 (non plus) or Orchard Audio monoblocks (150w). I feel like I’ve gone down the rabbit hole and maybe I should appreciate what I’ve got. Any thoughts? Thanks!

You would hear no difference between the amps. There's no good reason to buy the Parasound. In that small room you should have plenty of power for very high volume with a 90db sensitive speaker.

The Rotel should be same quality as the parasound more or less. If you want objective quality upgrades you can move to more modern class AB (Benchmark or so) or D amps. If you are looking for more colour, there are other options (that are technical inferior but sound good to those who love it).

So the question is, why do you want to upgrade, and what are you searching in that upgrade? Without those answers an upgrade (to whatever) is not usefull at all.

Thanks for the insights both @warnerwh and Waxx. Audio is such a great experience - live shows are amazing - always have a concert on my calendar, and I geek out the amps, preamps, streamers, turntables, speakers and the like.
I really like my current setup. I think for what it is it’s pretty decent, there’s nothing that I’m not happy with. In addition to the listening room I mentioned I’ve got two other setups - one in my living room, the other in my bedroom - they’ve all got turntables, so I think I’m in hobby territory here. That’s my motivation - a case of upgrade-itis.

I ordered the 150w orchard audio Monoblocks used from USA AUDIO - $900 shipped. I don’t have a setup in my family room, so maybe I’ll start on that.
