Set up covers Music and Movies.
JBL speakers achieve about 60Hz before drop off. Warfedale sub achieves about 40Hz before drop off. SPL limit not reached for either. Want to at at least keep the SQ and soundstage width
Have up to £1000.
Option 1: Upgrade JBL's for (powered) speakers that reach lower and replace sub with budget option to get lower Hz
Option 2: Keep the JBL's and spend on a higher quality used sub that smoothly reaches low e.g. SVS options.
Currently favouring the idea of sub replacement, but is that best?
