Unreal Engine 5.5 is amazing

As I ment different games.
@GM3 technically it's about Unity 5 level and recently tightening up it's Vulkan support (based on actual demos and from the news) but to see such titles you still need a large developer studio. The magic of GODOT is that almost anyone can do it and express its imagination plenty of tools and for others needs so it will get more really unique titles. And that's what you won't find on polished extra high polygon corporate, boring unimaginable torture with; add's, pay's, repays no story and no charm N°76# part money grabs. A vivid picture, isn't it?
Unity is more loved in community because they at least stopped some time ago to give you new futures on tee spoon if you don't pay for it like it's still case with Unreal even the Unity has lower target to start paying for commercial loyalties.

This popped up in my Youtube video feed. I watched it and I was amazed. The video talks about improvements in the new Unreal rendering engine, allowing real-time ray tracing with multiple light sources without dropping the fps by too much. It also discusses other features.

But the real reason why you should watch it is the eye candy. I haven't played a PC game since Unreal Tournament 2002, which used the first version of the Unreal Engine. This is almost enough to make me want to splurge thousands on a new PC and graphics card just to see what the new games are like.

You don't need to spend big money - I bought a secondhand Xbox One X and am very happy with the performance. Games are expensive new, but after about a year there are big discounts. I like FPS: the Halo series, Borderland series. Also MotoGp 2023.

To me it starts to look like it's coming out of beta-development
