The main element of this project, to start this year, is the TAS5631B. This chip is PWM input with 80db analog NFB that makes it enough low distortion to function in open loop with TAS5518, digital to 8xPWM.
I will use this power stage in BD modulation and with 60db analog post filter feedback.
I designed the PCB of the 5631B to start trials. I added a pair of Schottky diodes on each outputs for lower temperature, modified the suggested PCB as it doesn't have the output filters and mounted the 5631 on the bottom side to be cooled by the chassis and external heatsink.
The triangle generator and the PWM comparator are simulated as shown below as well as the input interface. The opamps will be opa1656 or 1612.
The THD will probably be limited by the opamps.
