Just using our site to host images that I can then link to in other forums which don't allow it.
In this case, someone was saying that you don't need safety certification of Furutech NCF AC filter because "it doesn't have a circuit." I showed above examples where such safety matters are still important.

That is very helpful. I'm guessing the key for the non-electrical items like this is the "propagation of fire". A cute little outlet plugin that doesn't really do anything can still spread a fire into the room faster if it starts inside the outlet.
