Still, its kind of crazy to pay 1/4 of price of the headphone just for pads.

It reminds me ‘the rule’ of paying only less significant (small) percentage of amplification for passive speakers.

I understand but here, it's 10 dollars. And without this purchase, the headphones are not usable for me

Depends. Even with $10 pads you end up with $35 very good headphone. Still a good deal
