Two channel amplifier recommendation

Don’t be classist. Amp classes have no signature sound. That is all marketing nonsense. These amps will sound like any other well made amp and that includes your current AVR.

Unless you really need the power, there will be no difference. Both devices already support Dirac Live (Bass Control). So you’ll gain nothing there either.

And AVP is just an AVR with the amps stripped out and the price raised… I don’t see how that could improve anything.

The only AVPs that would be an improvement over these are the onces with improved room correction, like Dirac ART. Marantz AV20 would fit that.
May be due to some bad old Class D amps.
Arcam 850 dont have Dirac bass control but JBL SDP have.
I thought separating in to different chassis will help in noise reduction, may be I am wrong.

Next upgrade I will go with AVR with ART.

Ah yes, I thought it already supported it. In that case the JBL is an upgrade. But that still a lot of money for only getting DLBC, and loosing all the amps ;)

Do you have noise issues?

Why not get ART now? A Denon x3800h will get you exactly there for way less money. You can still add an external amp if you like.

Your country being? Your avatar/info says US. I'm in the US and have seen a drop off generally in titles available on blurays (whatever resolution) and a decrease in quality from streamers. With separates you may have some advantages, but won't help with video quality, perhaps with sound if your separates use more powerful amps and you could use the power in your listening. With your new processor you may find Dirac better than ARC.
I am in US now, reginal movies from Asia.

Given 91 dB efficiency and some listening distance, you'll need less than 100W to reach this in-room. Even your current amp should be able to reach this level.
My current AVR is almost 7 years old and it is still working well but I just got the upgrade itch and want to experience pre power combo.

Start half-way and use your avr as pre-pro and get more powerful amps for your speakers? If you still have the itch beyond that then get the pre-pro.

Not much noise issue but I heard SDP58 have better Dac than Arcam41.My AVR is Arcam 850 and it is no the latest generation.
Now with more money I am not getting amp section that is correct.

All of those DACs are basically transparent. They will not sound better.

Switching out gear like that for dac alone isn't likely going to yield any particular difference except in measurement. Dacs have been solved for quite a long time.

OTOH if you really want different electronics and want to spend that kind of money on a pre-pro/power amp thing, it won't hurt except in the wallet.

Okay, if I want to improve the overall performance of movie watching what could be the best thing?
Other than getting a processor with Dirac ART?

Don't know what your current setup is so hard to know.

Don't know what your current setup is so hard to know.
My current HT setup consist of Arcam 850 AVR and two subwoofer one from Rythmik and another from HSU.
I do use Dirac live and also did some finetuning using minidsp for subs. I am quite happy with it but as you know upgrade itch made me buy new processor.
Now looking for amps.

Some of us prefer Class AB for religious reasons ;) - in which case the Benchmark AHB2 is very popular with those people - a state of the art Class AB implementation.

I am Class Agnostic.... very fond of my Class AB Quad amps of 1980's vintage (606, 707) which still keep up with current designs... (Quad have more current amps of course - which are excellent too - availability tends to vary by region) but I have used Class D Crown XLS2500's for the last 15 years, with great results (they are monsters 440W@8ohm, 770W@4ohm, 1200W@2ohm - very good for handling difficult low impedance/reactive speakers)

Also keep in mind that availability of certain brands will vary substantially by region - Quad tends to be readily available in EU/UK, but not so much in North America... Crown very readily available in USA, rare in EU, AU... - The regional thing is worth considering!

Of course used amps are always a good budget alternative - best value to be found with well known vintage manufacturers, that have mostly been forgotten by bargain hunters.... If you are in the UK you can often get bargains from Vintage Quad, Musical Fidelity, etc... if in the US, Crowns...

Maybe add speakers?

Seconded. Toole recommends surround for stereo sources

As long performance of amplifier is better or same as sensitivity of speakers you won't have static noise and otherwise you won't hear difference above 75 dB SINAD. As speakers deep to 3 Ohms it should be one that can handle 2 Ohms reactive loads and with more power so that it doesn't run hot. JBL SDP58 performance is about 94 dB SINAD (100 at best to SNR) and has both balanced/unbalanced outputs. Question is can they be used at the same time as combined (I guess it can)? I wouldn't use different subs in 2.2. How is floor, ceiling situation regarding refractions? That's where your Revels can be impacted so if they are some accustic treatment there is advised.
If JBL SDP58 can use both type of outputs at the same time and combined you can pass with modern class D (H) that dosent inherit noise with frequency increase and does it quit good up to 10 KHz. Or you can go with good old class AB (G) if you wish. Or you can go modern class D (H) twist with old power iron core transformer (for longevity like ATI purify/NC lines). Which ever makes you happy really as well there won't be hear able difrence and remember performance is already limited by JBL SDP58 one and speakers of course.
Revel F328BE do this quite great to a port tuning (30 Hz) exhibiting only little rise of it at 60 Hz (1.5% @ 96 dB SPL near field). So good indeed that most deticated sub's don't do much better. The real reason to go with 2.2 is not how bass can be localised but simeles integration of ELC so that you can have full octave scale while not listening very loud but I don't think you will get there with new processor anyway (old ART 32 had suport for it, maybe not great but it had it) as Dirac doesn't. For best movie experience find largest theatre close to you done to THX standard and go to it for grandiose ones, you can't have that at home and scales in 4x louder/quieter psy range to program base with 24 dB DR.

I am located in US, I have heard good things about Quad amps but not sure of the availability and tariff impacts.
Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Seconded. Toole recommends surround for stereo sources

I do have two rear surround speakers. I will get some other decent amps to power it. My current focus is to get the best option for Revels.

I do understand that amps are not EQ devices. I am little sensitive to brightness because I was using Harbeth and Salk speakers for long time which were on the warm side.
In general I hear that Class D is little dry or not musical, I just want to know feedback from actual users, is that true or not.

Thank you.
Not true
