TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero Red

You could get a TRUTHEAR Hola and add just two filters for a perfect match.

Either way just order one because i found the Zero more comfortable than the Hola and i am liking the relaxed presentation of the Hola more than the Zero lately.

On the other hand, it has much more (Harman compliant) bass than the $320 Blessing 3. And not the shouty little peak at 3kHz. If it wasn't for the massive hole around 10kHz, there were really not much to complain. Maybe the next step could/would be to invest in one additional driver for the treble (BA, EST or MEMS), getting it smooth and have a Variations killer for about $100.View attachment 286700

I have been experimenting with the IEF 2023 curve (with 7-10db bass boost), because i am finding the Harman curve pinna gain and highs a bit too much for me, the IEF 2023 curve sounds more natural and balanced to me, so i think the RED are a good option if you like the sound signature especially to use without equalization.

Very similar to the Salnotes Zero. Unsure about the distortion of the Salnotes though.

I also tried the same curve and found it just a little bit bright but found out that in most cases (at least with the IEMs i own) if you stop equalizing at about 4-5kHz you get mostly the same result a part from the lower mids but i like the bit more fullness with the IEF 2023 (+bass boost) so i started using it as a reference.

Harman curve doesn't mean nothing in 2023 I don't believe how people get so excited when crinnacle make a collab... Usually they are worst then on paper or what people tells you. How can you buy blindely just because crinnacle make them he doesn't have the same ears as yours!

Yes close, but the Red has the option with the impedance adapter to make up what is missing to Harman sub-bass.
Yeah that's a nice bonus. Just curious how much it would differ from the Salnotes in its stock state.
Too bright no fun too hear... They seem to stay on harman side... Buy the CCR CCA OG one and call it a day
I guess it's not for you then. Everyone has a preference. For me the Harman curve is bang on neutral. Anything less sounds darker. Which I do like on some days.

Harman curve still matters in 2023. Unsure where you got that idea. Otherwise manufacturers wouldn't be pumping out IEMs with it as a target. And he doesn't make those IEMs. The companies he collaborate with does.

Strange, i get a different response graph from crinacle.

I have the Hola and found them less brighter than the 7Hz Zeros which is more in line with this graph.

And the red are the zero just repainted and slightly tuned it's the same iem lmao for me if you want flat sound just take the 7hz saltnote and bye bye and for 40 bucks less

Dude each year it change seriously... And why pumping iems like fools if they cannot keep up with the treble range.. Nonsense

An adapter for the bass.. Dude what it going to be like in 2025 we all going to have adapters to have a near perfect Harman curves with the bass pumping pff I call it a marketing plot

You can't trust measurements that high up in frequency response

5128 is better than 711 but not perfect
They are not 100% reliable, but having tested many iems, anything that does not graph smooth does not sound smooth. The truthear x crinacle zero does not graph smooth in the upper treble and sounds very harsh to my ears while the variations graphs smooth and sounds smooth.

I'm not sure about your hearing compared with anyone else and compared to 5128

But I generally only trust up to 10kHz in measurements and then the rest is listen for myself
