Yeah as I surmised in my earlier post I suspect the deviation from the Harman target might actually be more accurate with Crinacle's measurements. Looks like the Truthear ranges from 5-6 dB below Harman at 20 Hz, dependent on the unit you get:I will likely do the same, knowing what I currently have for IEMs and how they compare to my dual sub system, both of which have greater output down there.
Depending how it sounds, it looks like eyeballing the graph would give:
+6 dB at 20 Hz
+3 dB at 30 Hz
+2 dB at 40 Hz
+1 dB at 50 Hz
-1 dB from 1 to 3 kHz
May give a better match to the target.
However @Maiky76 designed his EQ based on Amir's measurement, which is different. People should try both and see which one they think is better.
And the 1-3 kHz region reaches a maximum of ~1.5 dB above target on some units. Of course averaging all 10 sample measurements and EQing using that would be most likely to get any one random unit closest to the target.
