Coming from the Chu 2, it is expected that the Zero Blue will sound bass light in comparison.
IMHO Chu II bass sounds slow, muddy and bloated. Amir's EQ fixes this but even after this EQ for me they still sound notably worse than this Zero Blue or 7Hz Zero:2. Unlike these other Amir's recommendations Chu II was a big disappointment. :-(

Here's a little new problem that I got with the Zero Blue:
The Spinfit CP155 (M) I got close to... 2(?!?!) years ago somtimes get stuck in my ears. So far I could always get them out but I'm kinda scared they could get stuck in a position where I would need help to remove them.
Does someone have an Idea how to fix this (maybe without buying another Spinfit Pair because they are so expensive haha)?
I had some ideas like putting a small O-ring somewhere maybe over the IEM stem, maybe over the stem of the earrtips, but didn't try anything with this.
So instead of expensive IEMs, the business model is "let's get them to upgrade from cheap IEM to improved cheap IEM".

I'll skip the 2 and wait for the 3.
Good to know. (I am/will still orient myself after your opinion, still very happy with the EQ you put together.)
Anything new that is looking interesting as an upgrade option or did still nothing change in that?

When removing iem’s pull down on your earlobe as this will break the seal, makes them far easier to remove

Ok, will try to implement this, thank you.

Put the tips in hot water . They will likely shrink a little

Going to try the earlobe thing first and see how it helps, worrying that the fit wont be as good when they shrink, which is good right now, they wouldn't be getting stuck if the fit wouldn't be good, right? Still, thank you, going to prolly do that if the other thing doesn't work out.

Still not a big fan of these after almost 2 years of trying. They lack detail by default and when you play with the EQ to "add it back" the result is unpleasant, sibilant and harsh. Thank God they were not expensive.
If you wonder, the less expensive CHU II sounds clean in the same areas. Pristine actually. Bass is also better, especially after a bit of EQ. Should I mention the CHU II is smaller, easier to fit (Comply foam tips for me) and consequently significantly more comfortable to wear than these Zero Blue?

I got burned incredibly hard on the original chu, so I would never get them/ the successor again. Completely tarnished anything that will be a chu.

(Almost stopped going the IEM route because of them.)
