Hi all,

I'm now taking some semi-frequent lengthy mass transit journeys and having the 7Hz Zero 2 IEM tethered to my Android phone is a bit of a cabling faff.
I am thinking of grabbing these Bluetooth wireless devices to free myself from the tangle and make for a quicker, easier pack and leave.

So, what are people's own experience with these things?

I read different opinions around the 'net from Apple vs. Android users. Also, I wonder if some IEMs being used are sensitive to impedance and suffer a change of tonality. I'm guess the 7Hz Zero 2 don't have this issue with these devices.

So, yeah, have at it. Don't forget to list your IEM and Device type/connection protocol.
Hopefully some people who found problems might also find solutions.

Cheers!

If I was using public transport I’d use anc wireless buds, I’d personally see no point in using wired iems when subjected to outside interference by noise.

Just my take,

I appreciate your input. That is a valid point. In my experience the passive noise isolation afforded by the particular IEMs I mention above, I don't really hear much outside noise. That said the bus is electric and it's fairly empty... put a nasty dirty old diesel engine in it and pack it with screaming kids and deaf old timers and it might be a different story!

The only experience I have with add-on Bluetooth stuff is the Qudelix 5k which is more than 5x the cost of the zero2, sorry can’t help much really

Its fine SQ wise for mobile use, not bad battery life, but theres a significant latency so not great for watching video.

That is interesting! I use VLC (Video Lan Client) on Android so, I think there is a setting in there for delaying the video image to keep the sound in synch...hmm, hopefully that would do the trick, else that makes this wireless device a bit limited in use.
Thank you for your input.
