Trinnov Waveforming finally released

I posted more non-WF measurements... Crazy how Trinnov can't handle my 8 subs without some manual setup. Like WTF normal performance is sub par compared to what I had to force it to do. And the L+R BM crossover didn't work as well as advertised either...

Thankfully performance is much better now. Yes, best I've ever heard it. Bass is dead on accurate and life-like (after several manual tweaks). Honestly, it required more manual fixing just to get where I was before with the 6 Xilica DSPs. I do think I've surpassed what I had before though.

However, I'd love to see full measurements before I'd ever consider mounting 135lb subs to my ceiling because their other "optimizations" don't achieve world class on their own without a lot of measuring and tweaking. I'd probably have to also take down a wall too. And honestly, bass may sound worse if you are close to the cancellation region due to a smaller sized room.

Green is my super secret trick to getting optimizer to actually optimize my subs. Blue is what it does before on its own with 8 subs...

Hopefully someone in this thread can post some WF measurements and maybe FL crossed to a WF array so we can compare. More measurements on these pages, just scroll some:

FWIW - before and after simulation of WF performance after FW upgrade. Looks tidier on the chart.
Audibly - it was very good before, so probably most of the improvements I can hear are influenced by me knowing that charts look nicer ;-).

Will run new measurements session in couple of weeks, so will have REW data too. But so far, Trinnov WF simulations have been quite precise.

part of the improvement in overall immersion is probably coming from this new setting - trinnov now alows for several seetings for Bass Management alignment - if you do 2Ch you can prioritze L-R, or L-C-R as in my case for MCH music, or even C only, if need to have dialogue [and e.g. you need to cross higher at 100Hz].
