Topping USB Volume

Hey all , i had a quick question on the topping D90SE using USB and was wondering if anyone can help me. When i play music thru tidal using the USB on D90SE i'm able to select an option that says " Use exclusive Mode " and with that on the topping output on USB gets significantly louder - whereas where i run regular finder audio etc through the topping it seems to be lower .

Any way to get around this ?

Do you use system wide EQ?
Exclusive mode (WASAPI or ASIO) cancels that.

You may also use the system wide VC at a lower level and when exclusive takes over brings things back to 0dB.
