TOPPING to release a new IEM!

It will be launched in China on September 26, priced at RMB 799. Not sure about other countries.

So about 110usd /£85 . Interesting price point.

It's here:

Kind of like the hardware eq idea. Not sure about that price though. I still suspect some Truthear involvement here though as a single DD it's not just a rebadge of any of theirs.

Hi

We're living some really interesting times. IEMs are for all practical purposes, a solved issue (Dare I say: Thanks to ASR?) : You buy any of those approved here :))) that fit your ears and make sure these don't go over $100.

...

I don't see why I would buy these over the 7 Hz, TRUTHEAR RED or Blue or similar under $100 IEM...

Sorry if this comes out as a crapping on a thread post..

Peace.

From my point of view, more comfort, basically more accurate sound and more natural timber(especially in the highs). Also there's always something to tweak to the liking. 129USD is still a really budget price. Also the elevated bass on harman target is not suitable for mixing where as hane performs as good if not better than many studio monitors in accuracy.

How is this quantified?
+-1.5db from 20-10khz for multiple of targets. many studio monitors are far off from this accuracy. So this is up there. Also this is confirmed to be really accurate by different mixing engineers since we have gained the connections with the pro scene.

I dont need another IEM

I'm not sure why but I like "collecting" IEMs, headphones - no, but with IEMs there is something interesting about their look, kinda like jewelry.

They don't take up much space so it's easy to store a lot of them. Nobody every bought IEMs and thought "where am I gonna put them?" :D

Hi John,

Good to see you today. Quick question, and excuse me if already asked and answered. I am preoccupied with a Hurricane trying to make unauthorized entry. Has a unit been sent to Amir for testing?

Thank you for your time and response John.

On Edit: Belay the above question. Amir has confirmed that he has a set in house and will test soon.
