I was also looking into the Chord Mojo 2 and your knowledgeable reply was so clutch. It made me pause on my hunt for one. I assume this issue is for all devices not just Apple? I'm an Android user. What is the work around there?

What issue?
The white noise issue. Is there a proper root cause for this? I don't want to potentially blast my ears with noise and get hearing damage.
