Topping NX4 DSD not working on PS4

Yesterday i received my NX4 DSD Version from China. Beautiful unit and together with my DT880 it offers very nice sound. But i have issues running the NX4 as DAC/Amp on my Playstation 4 and Ubuntu 14.04 Environment at Work. Before that i had the Fiio E10K II which was running fine as DAC/Amp, but it didn't have enough power to drive the DT880, which is why i returned it, but this little thing worked out of the box.

Do i miss something? Why is the NX4 DSD not running (except on my Macbook at home). Maybe some driver issues? no USB-Compliance? I really don't know :/

As far I know, the PS4 doesnt output audio via usb.

PS4 actually does support audio via usb, but not on all devices.
Works fine for me with a Hifimediy dongle. Unfortunate to see that not every dac is supported though...
