If I am not mistaken the E50II has L/R RCA out and no sub out. So I would connect E50II L/R to sub L/R
Sorry not making myself clear. My existing system is za3 with sub out. My subwoofer has L and R inputs but L is labelled LFE.
I use single mono rca cable from za3's sub out to subwoofer's L (LFE) only. R is not connected.
Just thinking of having another system: E50II pairing with mini 300 having no sub out.

Then as @staticV3 recommended

In that case, you'd connect both E50II RCA Line outs to the Sub.

Or if your Sub has a high-passed Satellite Line out to connect your Mains, do E50II->Sub->Mini300->Speakers.

Mini 300 has no sub out.
If E50ii is paired with Mini 300.
Is it safe to do following:
[E50ii]-->TRS-->[Mini 300]-- speaker wires-->[Passive Speakers]
[E50ii]-->RCA-->[Subwoofer]
But you must not use the volume knob on the Mini 300 in this case. The volume must be controlled by the E50ii or the sub level will not change in sync with the main speakers' volume.

Will these properly drive the elac dbr62? I currently have an pair of dbr62 driven by the audiophonics nc252mp (2x250W) in my living room. I have another pair of dbr62 in my bedroom waiting for an amp. I was about to pull the trigger on another nc252mp, but these mini 300 are 5 times cheaper.
mini300 just arrived today. i have it set to the 11 o'clock position. the d30pro is at around -20dB for moderate listening levels with Youtube. The levels drop quite a bit with Netflix though due to the PCM downmix, but still adjustable without moving the dial on the mini300. my room is about 20m^2.

Hi amigos,

Find an interesting Mono TPA3255 with good flat inductors (Measurements provided)

Sorry for the OT, but you paired a FOSI, an integrated amplifier and not a preamplifier, with the Topping 300 mini.
To clarify: I am thinking of pairing a Fosi P4 preamplifier with the Topping 300 mini.

Since you have a Fosi, can you tell us if you can hear the difference between the Fosi and the Topping? I mean in terms of sound quality. Could you describe it?

The Topping 300mini is currently the best in terms of value for money. Unfortunately, no Topping PA has a sub output! Not even the 300mini.

I'm looking for information to understand
IF P4+Fosi300mini is a good thing,
OR
IF P4 + 2, V3mono is better.

(We know that these are qualitative judgments that must take into account all other variables such as the source, the environment, the musical sensitivity of the listener...)

The inferior measurements of the V3 Mono compared to the Mini 300 can be found right here on ASR.

Of course!
I started by comparing the two measurements, and reading the two tests, there is a difference between Toppin and Fosi, but it is relatively small. Now, HOW MUCH is this difference audible?
There is a price difference in its favor, but if Topping is clearly better when listening... then I will buy the P4+Topping 300min with greater confidence.

There is absolutely zero chance of hearing an audible improvement between 100 and 105db SINAD amplifiers like this as both are way in excess of audible resolution. Pick the Topping if you really want the better numbers despite that or otherwise choose whichever looks the nicest to you or has the features that are most useful to you, or choose the one you think will be most reliable and which will have the better customer service. Or flip a coin :)

Thank you: sometimes it's answers like these that make your day!
If I may, I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity: in Amir's ranking, how low can you go before your statement about audible differences becomes invalid?

Let me give you an example: if you compare a product that scores 105 with one that scores 88, the difference is still not audible, so can we choose based on reliability or other factors, as you wisely suggest?

At least searching Amazon.com the Mini 300 is less expensive than a pair of V3 Mono ($139 vs $179.98). But this is only if you go with Fosi's basic offer, which comes with a 32 V PSU. With this PSU the V3 Mono will provide less output power than the Mini 300.

If you want the bigger PSU with the V3 Mono to take advantage of the slightly higher power output the price is $139 vs $219.98.

Sorry, Amazon fooled me into clicking the wrong link. Looks like the V3 Mono is currently not available from Amazon.com. But it's till more expensive than the Mini 300, no matter what.

Reading @gwing's post very carefully, the main message to me is: Don't buy a power amplifier just based on single numerical value like SINAD. ;)

Using my new Mini 300 to power 2 of my atmos channels. Should I set it to Bal or SE?
It’s working great for my use case, though it doesn’t get much action running only atmos channels! So I don’t have much of a review

SE, probably.

You don't really have a choice here:
If you're using RCA plugs to feed it, you must use the SE position.
If the input signal is provided by means or TRRS jacks you must use the Bal position.

Or did I misunderstand your question?

My existing humble system is ZA3 pairing with smsl C200 (ESS).
Until I saw mini300 and E50ii (AKM) in white.
I dont need one but I want one.

Well that answers that! Thank you. SE it is!
