New power amp measured by Wolf, currently under NDA. Looks very interesting. His measured SINAD is just above 120 at both 5W and 100W.

Am I alone in thinking this lowest SINAD is just another pissing contest? Who can piss higher up the wall, who can get the lowest SINAD.

It has zero relevance to audio quality, so why bother, other than because you can.

If you think measurements beyond audibility are all the matters it is stupid to spend more than $100 on each component since for that price, you can get state of the art performance from a measurement point of view. Why pay for a difference in measurements you can't hear?

Yep. Start paying attention to other things at that point - power available, build quality, efficiency.

Plenty have. It was done in the 1970s by Sony, Akai, Yamaha etc.
