Topping L30 Headphone Amplifier Review

Actually guys, I'm not worried about getting the right plug. Maybe my english is not good enough so I'll rephrase.
I'd just like to know if with regular sellers (Audiophonics & co.) the AC brick has a EU plug directly integrated, or if it has a chinese plug PLUS a cheap chinese to EU adapter.
And of course I'd like to know if it's exactly the same with AliExpress : do they have "EU ready" Topping products, or do they stock on a bunch of chinese versions and then add cheap adapters for each region ?
In other words : is there only ONE version of the AC brick (with a chinese plug), or are there several versions ? Thanks !

Several versions. I have the EU one, it's made for EU with correct (direct) termination

It would appear that there are different power units for different regions, not just one plug with regional attachments.

Well yes, that's what Veri just said. So we already know that there are different power units. Which leaves the only remaining question : does AliExpress sell only the chinese PU + adapters, or do they sell a different power unit for each region ?

Like I said, to me it's not clear I don't know why he talks about a EU power cable. The L30 doesn't have a power cable but a power brick. Maybe he was talking about the E30, but the E30 doesn't have a "EU" power cable either, only a USB power cable.

I have asked again, hopefully they will reply soon.

I'm reading the other topic, and it appears that maybe there are some recommended AliExpress sellers, while others should be avoided. If anybody has a seller recommendation, please share. 11.11 is tomorrow and I'm not the only one who could benefit from it. Thank you.

EQ / 'reasonably' priced RME ADI-2 would mean for Topping to invest a lot in software. They are mostly a hardware company. So it's not something easy for them to get into. Also, to be perfectly honest, considering all the ADI-2 can do, it is already reasonably priced

Topping is growing brand. I think they can invest in software. As for RME i don't think it's reasonably priced but audiophile market we are talking about so i can see why people think it's reasonably priced.

I am thinking of buying the Topping E30/L30 for my Sennheiser HD 600, but I am considering the possibility of waiting for the Topping A30 Pro launch.

Considering only the SE output, will the A30 Pro be better than the L30?
Regarding the price, will the A30 Pro have a price range between L30 and A50s?

For 300 ohm HD600 i recommend zen dac + zen can stack with balanced cable. Very good stack and good value.

Yeah this is my latest setup. Cheapest and most powerful balanced setup. The Zen Dac arrived yesterday to complement my purchased Zen Can from few weeks back.

I notice channel imbalance only with my most sensitive earphones and only when a volume pot is somewhere around ~0-3. I am not that picky to complain about it because I don't listen to music on such low volume position. Don't be anxious, everything else works very well so far

Hi thanks a lot and very good indeed. I hope this would be my final HP amp. I could even buy another to use as a preamp. I am pretty sure it can be an hell of a line preamp with any power amp around.

No problem, I also plan to use it for a long time. I can't "upgrade" every half a year out of boredom. Two months without complains so far. Hope you will receive a great working unit.
