I reached out to Topping support email that I found on their website, it seems like Its possible for me to buy a main board directly from them? It doesn't seem like a bad deal if this is actually legit, I took the service email from their website.

tpdz.net is Toppings official website. I download the newest ASIO drivers and firmware updates from there. This seems legit to me.

Does anybody know the specification for the Barrel connector to USB lead that usually comes with the E30 DAC.

I recently moved house and the lead has gone missing. I suppose I am looking for an after market solution.

Any help would be warmly welcomed. I am in Australia.

Late reply, but I'll reply anyway. For 71 USD it should probably be possible to buy an used DAC instead

Just checked eBay and there is a used black E-30 with remote for $69.99 plus $11.55 shipping.

For some reason Topping has no E30 firmwares up @ https://www.toppingaudio.com/supports
Drop an email to [email protected] ask if they can update the website or send you any newer versions

V1.08 is the latest and all E30 > ser 2006 already have 1.08.
There are no newer versions for E30.

That firmware fixes polarity issue for USB input only (SPDIF/Toslink still has flipped polarity).

One annoying thing ... if a signal is missing the standby follows after seconds - too short. In addition (nice to have) a switch-off the digits ...

Is the connection OPT/COAX or USB? If it is a USB connection, the operation will depend on the USB settings on the PC.

I have one E30 DAC. Working on my tv set. It works perfectly, signal goes to a Topping pre amp, then two amplified studio near field monitor. No firmware upgrade ever.
