Hi forum,
Checking my options for replacing my A70 pro and D70 SABRE combo with a DX9 Discrete.
Getting PEQ and DSP would help to quit Roon and Tidal (I am paying for Apple Music anyway). I suppose with the Pre All setting (SE and Balanced out simultaneously) I can keep doing what’s happening now: active sub at SE, plus XLR attached power amps.
Question is can I have a PEQ/DSP driven x-over now in the DX9, separating sub and power amps?

Thanks for your ideas and insight.

Thanks.
So there is only one DSP configuration that will change XLR and SE out in the same way, correct?

Like the OP, I had hoped to be able to implement a sub/main crossover with the DX9 Discrete and thought this might be possible when Topping said that all its outputs "support independent PEQ configuration". Alas when I asked them they confirmed this wasn't possible, as is pointed out by the other replies.

They did say however that they would seriously consider adding this functionality in future products. I believe the Luxsin DAC/amp, amongst others, reviewed recently on here has this functionality.

Thanks a bunch, guys!
I really had hoped this would have been possible. As, from a vendor‘s perspective it could have been almost a very attractive no-brainer.

And @TOPPING - this and a feature to switch 12V trigger output to „Off“ when in HPA mode (sending downstream amps or active LS to sleep) would be very welcome.
